"After a family xmas party, our 1 year old dishwasher will not clean, found chunks in the smart dispense container, only to find out there is a problem with this product and smart dispense system. A friend who is a app. repairman spent 1/2 a day cleaning chunks out of the dispenser that was totally clogged. Very unhappy with your product after years of use."

Won't buy again
"This product was on-sale so I thought that I'd give it a try...never again! It's not a gel, it's more liquid like water. I have to use twice as much and it does not get the dishes clean."

Looking better
"After having a disastrous experience with Cascade Complete All in 1, Cascade with Extra Bleach-lemon scent has come to the rescue and erased the blue stain and the coffee/tea cups are beginning to return to their clean interior look again. I've used Cascade for the past 6 years and was shocked at the bad performance of the All in 1. Fortunately this version of Cascade works fine."

Too Much Bleach
"We've used Cascade for years but this new Cascade with Bleach is terrible. The smell of bleach stays with the dishes. When I drink from a glass that's been washed using Cascade with bleach there is a strong bleach smell. I'm returning this product and will not buy it again. And the dishes have been well rinsed."

I'll never use another product!!!
"I have tried saving money by purchasing dishwashing detergent at the dollar stores. My dishes always had a film on them and looked dirty. I used the Cascade Gel with Bleach and I will never use anything else! My dishes were clean and there was no film!!! I will continue to buy this porduct!!!"

"I've used Cascade dishwashing detergent for over 35 years and recently switched because load after load everything has a white film on it. I read the FAQ here but it does not help the problem!"

Too liquidy...or is it suppose to be thin H2O
"Shine Shield Formula Extra Action with the Grease fighting power of DAWN with Lemon Scent. It splashes and leaves spots on dishes. I like the gel. It is easier to manage."

Do not buy this
"I have used Cascade for over 20 years. The product with extra Bleach action does not get my dishes clean. Also, I was in a rush one day and the liquid (very thin) splashed on my jeans and as the name states it bleached a spot on m jeans. Be careful."

Would give it 0 stars if I could!
"We have used Cascade ever since we've had a dishwasher, and up until now have been completely satisfied. This latest package was purchased at a warehouse store, so is very large. It comes out of the bottle like water, and runs right down the drain as soon as I close the dishwasher door. Every time I pour it into the little soap compartment, it splashes all over the floor because it's so watery, and smells so strong that at first I thought I got a bottle of bleach rather than dishwasher soap. Will never buy this product again, especially such a huge bottle, if it shakes like water..."

Love Cascade Gel!
"We've used Cascade Gel products since they first came out. We have had nothing but excellent results. We have not encountered any bottles of the Gel with Bleach that were too liquid or separated. Perhaps that's an advantage to living in the SE. I would like to point out that simply calling the hotline listed on the side or bottom of any P&G product will take you to a really nice customer service rep who will gladly send you coupons for replacing the product or for other P&G products. P&G wants customers to be happy with their products. Otherwise they couldn't sell them - no matter how many soap operas they sponsor, LOL!
Thank you for the many wonderful years of products you have provided to our family. We look forward to many more.
PS - can you bring back the orange scent?? We really prefer it to the lemon scent!"

Huge mistake
"I bought 8 bottles of Cascade with bleach gel from a store going out of business. Huge mistake. I paid 25% less on a product that is 100% useless. I, too, thought that the active ingredients of this really thin product ( NOT a gel at all) had separated due to sitting on the shelf too long. Wrong. I shook the bottles and left them spout side down in the sink, hoping to remix the active ingredients with the watery solvent--all to no avail. This product does not clean dishes. You too will be forced to wash them again by hand.
I liked Cascade so much better when it had only one formulation. It was a dependable, superior product, in a familiar green box. You did not have to choose from a mind boggling variety of formulations, risking grabbing the WRONG product---8 of them!"

worst than water! Poor at BEST
"I quite frankly believed I had purchased a bottle that was replaced with water!!! The detergent is so watery that (1) does not hold in the detergent compartment (2) smells horribly and not like any lemon I have ever seen (3) apparently runs completely out of the dishwasher drain immediately with the water --- because it has no longer has ANY of the qualities of the previous Cascade products. A HORRIBLE PRODUCT and do not believe it is worth one star!!!"

Something wrong with this batch?
"Five stars because Cascade is usually great. I was looking for a way to send an email straight to customer svc. about this problem, but saw no option for doing so. The botttle of Cascade with extra Bleach Action Gel I just purchased is not a gel. To my unpleasant surprise, it is a liquid with the consistency of liquid bleach. Imagine pouring something like that in your dishwasher detergent bins. I was expecting the usual gel ooze of my favorite detergent, and it came pouring out--like liquid bleach. First I wondered if the contents had separated; but no, the whole bottle contains the same liquid. I'm taking it back for a refund. In case PG is interested, the stamp on the bottle is: 0020173141438. This must be a mistake--a bad batch or something? Anyway, I have used Cascade for years with no problem. This is strange. Next time I'll shake the bottle before buying to make sure I'm buying a gel."

I love it!
"Sorry to see the other reviews did not have the experience I have had with my purchase of Cascade w/bleach. I tried it because of the bleach...and was very impressed. I didn't mind the lemon/bleach smell...as I expected as such and considered that to be an assurance of cleaniness for my dishes. My dishes were clean and spot free. *TIP #1 : I will say that I happened upon using a dab of it on a piece of mildewed clothing (on a fluke) and after soaking it for 15 minutes...it was clean as new! I love it...and hate that my local stores don't carry it anymore...not sure why...that is why I am online looking to purchase it. *TIP #2: Shake the bottle a little before usage...that's what I do with any dual action cleaners.
