"The product was superlative. It cleaned everything very well. The sheen on the dishes after they had been cleaned was brilliant. All of the soap was dispensed, so no waste. I had some heavily gunked up dishes and everything came out clean as a whistle."

"The last two bottles of cascade complete start off being a gel. Then after a few days 5 to 7, the consistancy changes to a very thin liquid and just pours out of the bottle like water. the cleaning power is also altered negatively.
Why is this happening I have used liquid Cascade for years, store it in the same place, under the sink."

"upc 37000 22587 liquid dishwasher is consistancy of water. because of restictive cap(designed for gels) product cannot be poured without initial spurt or splash of product.

Is this just a production error? 9068173131028 is the code printed on bottle.

there is no indication that it is not a gel.

It cleans great."

"Turned to liquid instead of staying a jel. It will not stay in the place that has a lid. it just runs out so all the all in one is used on the first wash."

Best detergent
"WE have a 7 year old Whirlpool Gold dishwasher that had slowly lost its ability to clean dishes, especially glasses, well. After trying all different brands of cleaner, including Cascade ActionPacs and other top brands, we were seriously considering buying a new dishwasher due to hardened residue and food particles which would often be dried onto just-washed dishes and glasses. But we are keeping it due to the performance of the Cascade Complete with Bleach which we decided to try after a review in a top consumer mag. It works as advertised and all our dishes and glasses come out perfectly clean. It's amazing how well it works and saved us from having to buy a new dishwasher. I'm not normally the type to post reviews, just wanted to share this to reinforce our satisfaction with this top-rated product."

bad lot
"I don't know what happened but I have a bottle of Cascade Dishwashing Detergent that crystalized. Anyone have the same issue? It may have been a bad batch, but I was very disappointed. Otherwise this is a great brand that does a great job."

worst purchase ever
"I purchased cascade with grease dighting power with baking soda this priduct was the worst one you have it was watery and did not clean at all I will not use this again the code on the bottle is 9072173140224"

"The last two bottles of Cascade turned into crystals, making it hard to get the product out. Why does this happen? I live on the California Coast where we don't get extreme heat and cold."

"This product is the only dishwasher product that will work in my dishwasher! I don't know why or really care, its the fact that my local stores don't carry it, and that makes it hard for me! When I do find it, I stock up like it's going out of style. Love it!"

Cascade Complete gel is bad!
"I have always used Cascade in one form or another with great results. But when I bought this "NEW" Cascade Complete gel and washed my dishes with it. My glassware and flatware turned out as white as this page and covered with soap scum. The rinse aid dispenser is full and working. I was so disappointed, I had to hand wash the glassware to get the scum off, after a good soaking in vinegar. My water isn't any harder than it has always been."

What's wrong with my Cascade
"I have been buying Cascade gel for years. I have had a problem with the last 2 bottles I've purchased. The first bottle, halfway through, got all watery; no gel... now this current bottle I have is ALL watery. Is there a product flaw; or had it been sitting around the store too long? I no longer have the receipt to return it.... I am VERY reluctant to buy another bottle......."

NOT for use with GE Profile smart dispenser
"I just had a GE repairman in to clean/ suck out the detergent from my less than one year old GE Profile dishwasher with Smart Dispense. The Cascade All in One Gel is too thick and eventually blocked the dispensing tube.

Despite the wonderful cleaning of this detergent, I will no longer use it. Mine was not the first dishwasher this repairman had to clean out because of this detergent."

"I have tried every dishwasher liquid on the market and have ranked them all for home use with the exception of the cascade products as impossible as having to rewash by hand to adaquate. All the cascade products I have found to be ecellent with the one above being the best of the best."

wasteful pour spout
"I think the design of these bottles - Cascade Extra Action with grease fighting power of Dawn - as a liquid is very wasteful. By the time I try to fill the dispenser, I have wasted more of the product than is necessary. I thought I was getting the gel and found out differently.... it went all over the floor near the dishwasher."

what's wrong with this?
"Sorry I can't post a rave review for a product I have used for a long time but this is what happened: my good old WEAREVER aluminum cookware has been my stand-by for more years than I care to say but when I put one of my pans in the dishwasher with this "complete" detergent it turned a very dark color....the stain doesn't come out with anything I have tried and don't know if it is o.k. to continue using the cookware or not. Except for this problem I haven't had any trouble with the CASCADE Complete. I have also tried the regular, lemon scented and the same thing happened. Are you sure there is not something wrong with this?

A long time user....not a happy one."

Never again.
"I have used Cascade dishwasher detergent for over 20 years and this stuff is the WORST product I have ever come across.

It has removed / blasted / scoured printing on glasses that have been safely cleaned in the dishwasher for years. Plastic kids glasses look like the have been sand blasted. Decorated beer glasses now have "runs" of paint down the glass.

The last jug has been a castastrophe."

Worse purchase ever
"I do not like your new gel Cascade. I have never used anything but Cascade but I purchased the Cascade with Dawn a few weeks ago and didn't like it so I thought I was getting my old Cascade and when I arrived home it was also gel. It doesn't clean my dishes at all. After all these 30+ years I have to find another dishwashing detegent.
You shouldn't try to improve on something that already works. Leave a good product alone.

Poor Performance
"I have had a dishwasher all of my adult life and have tried a lot of soap brands.I have tryed the noname and discount brands and as it goes, you get what you pay for.The reason I am writing this is because over the years I have come to a conclusion that Cascade powder did a pretty bang up job washing and giving my dishes a clean shine.Well, I am chocked at how poor the gel is compared to the old powder.Thanks."

"since you changed your cascade gel to the new formula where the gel is no long white, it is opaque......it does not work as well as the white gel.. leaves stains. I prefer the gel that is "WHITE' .. NOT OPAQUE."
